Polls to close soon, exit poll set for 10 pm

First results expected after 6:30 pm

The 2024 United Kingdom general election will be held on Thursday, 4 July 2024. It will determine the composition of the House of Commons, which will elect the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Polls will close at 10:00 pm on Thursday, and the first results are expected after 6:30 pm. A crucial exit poll is set to forecast the results at 10 pm.

All results prior to 2024 are therefore notional or estimates of what the outcome of past elections would have been had they been contested under the current boundaries.
