Udogie impresses in his Premier League debut

Tottenham Hotspur secured a resounding 2-0 victory over Chelsea in the Premier League on Monday night, thanks to goals from Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero.

Kulusevski opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a clinical finish from inside the box, after being set up by Harry Kane. Romero doubled Spurs' lead in the 33rd minute with a powerful header from a corner, giving Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga no chance.

Chelsea dominated possession for much of the match, but were unable to create any clear-cut chances. Tottenham defended resolutely, with new signing Destiny Udogie impressing on his Premier League debut.

The win moves Tottenham up to fourth in the Premier League table, while Chelsea remain in eighth place.

The victory was Tottenham's first over Chelsea in the Premier League since February 2023, and ended a run of eight games without a win against their London rivals.

It was also a special night for Skipp, who scored his first Premier League goal for Tottenham. The midfielder has been in impressive form for Spurs this season, and his goal was a just reward for his hard work.

Tottenham will now be looking to build on this victory when they travel to Manchester United on Saturday.
